Bro, Jamal is literally the best safety in the NFL.. what more is he supposed to do?

This... and if this was any other player and he did not go to LSU most LSU fans would feel different.

Seems like it worked. Maybe Jamal Adams knows more about how the League works than you do.

Now who looks like the idiot... He came out of this on top even if it is in a tempest town right now.

He was just trying to get traded. It worked.

A Black that takes a stand is a liability.

I think he hates being on such a shitty team. He has more talent and leadership than anyone in the Jets Organization.

Someone should go back and look at how much Jamal carried that defense
Didn’t he (a safety) lead the team in Sacks last year?

Maybe he has done all of that already, and nothing has changed. If that’s the case, then would you just expect him to stay in a shitty situation and not say anything and try to get out of it?
If so, then you have to apply that logic to anyone who criticizes a teammate or coach publicly...and most arent willing to give that benefit of the doubt. It seems extremely unlikely he did.

In the real world you can’t demand an extension while under contract for two more years and if you don’t get an extension bitch about it. Welcome to the real world of business Jamal.
Except you can do this in the “real world”

Not throw his coaches or his teammates under the bus.

Yeah, getting a little out of hand, Adam Gase is a clown

I don’t really understand why people are upset. This is business. He’s a valued commodity. He’s applying pressure to force an outcome beneficial to himself. He’s probably the only person on that team that could.
Do you get upset when ESPN and Cox are doing their whole you might lose your sports thing?
Do you get upset that companies hire lobbyists?
If it works, why shouldn’t he? He hasn’t refused to play.
Seems like he took a lot of time to try to do this behind closed doors and the Jets are just incompetent.

Meh. They promised him something and didn't keep their end of the bargain, so he used his clout to get moved. If this was the Patriots or Chiefs or another well run team it'd be weird, but it's the Jets. I don't understand how Gace keeps getting jobs.

You absolutely can renegotiate a contract in the real world.
You also don’t get drafted by a company in the real world.
You can leave your job for another in the real world (albeit some states allow non compete
Clauses but even those are limited)
There is no rookie cap in the real world.
Sorry but the real world BS cuts both ways.

This happens in the real world all the time. Companies break contracts and renegotiate all the time. That’s why most corporate contracts have mediation clauses so that the breakup can be mitigated if it happens.

No one with talent wants to play for a losing organization. Jamal will get his money but he ain’t winning shite with the Jets. Joe Namath has to be nearly 80 years old. jets organization hasn’t been relevant in 50 years ?

Jamal is a bitch and always has been one.

Lol the Jets made out like absolute bandits in this deal, they came out on top and got rid of a loudmouthed idiot.
