I think it's a long shot. The job will be a competition. Oklahoma already has Austin Kendall who went wire to wire with Kyler for the job until late August. They also have the #1 QB in the country coming in.

Are they sticking with the triple option with the new coach?

Collins mentioned in an interview that Tech would be moving to a more "pro style" offense.

Bama fans complaining about this are grade A hypocrite.

Bama did what’s best for Bama.

Hurtz is doing what’s best for him.

Sorry but at least he hung around a year as your backup and won you an SEC Championship.

Jalen Hurts making this much news is ridiculous - dude is a mediocre college QB.

i like hurts a lot. there are only like 3-5 teams that shouldn't be dying to get him

The way Tua stunk it up Monday I am wondering if we shouldn't have started Hurts

hurts is the only reason you beat UGA, although the same can be said for tua last year, so i have no idea how to read into that.

i think it's possible that tua is the better quarterback but that jalen is the better option for some of these bama teams. i'm sure there are reasons why that's a dumb fricking take, but whatever.

what nick foles is doing is relatively flukey and the numbers don't support it at all, but is he a better option at QB for the eagles even though he is objectively much worse than carson wentz? probably not, i suppose, but it's all quite interesting.

He needs the perfect situation to be effective.

When he has to become a passer, he's fricked.

You would’ve had 0 points instead of 16.

Ehh, I disagree.

I think they score more with Hurts. They would have had a more run game approach, which was kicking clemsons arse with early, and they would not have had those two huge momentum killing turnovers early

i dont understand this thought process. jalen hurts has become underrated IMO.

i know who definitely wouldn't have thrown a pick six on the first drive.

1) Maryland bc of Mike Locksley
2) Houston bc he’s from the area
3) Florida bc of Dan Mullen

Guy should be cheered by Bama fans, if not for him, they don't beat Georgia.

Only the idiots will be doing this. Wish him nothing but the best if he leaves.

And no, we shouldn't have started him over Tua.

I mean he simply can’t make the throws that Tua made to get those points on the board. That 62 yard bomb is not in Hurts catalog. Bama had some crazy poor play/bad luck on 4th and shorts and in the red zone so if you want to argue that maybe Hurts should’ve played more situationally I have no issue with that, but if Bamas offense couldn’t score with tua back there, Hurts isn’t making it better.

Which is part of his issue in the offense. He will pat the ball and run around all day until he find a wide open WR. Clemson didn’t seem like they were planning on letting those WRs get open all night.
