It isn’t the same. Burrow got far better coaching under Meyer and Day than Howard ever got at K State
He learned how to lead at OSU as well and said as much while at LSU and in the NFL

I'm not saying Burrow didn't get better coaching at OSU than Howard did at K State. I was just saying it's not really a similar situation at all other like you were insinuating other than the fact that they both were transfers. I'n not hating on OSU's title, I would love for LSU to win another even in the wild west era, but the guy you responded to made a perfectly reasonable point of why he doesn't care for college football as much anymore and this years OSU team is a prime example of that.

They bought them for next year, lol. If nothing else we are all in for next season. We will see how it turns out, but the starters will be improved in most areas.

OSU spent the overwhelming majority of nil retaining players. lots of teams spent way more on the portal. any team with a top-shelf roster is going to have to spend to keep it together.

we only spent around 100k more this past season than lsu. lsu had the second most expensive roster in the sec.

I heard them talking about this on the radio this morning, apparently Ohio State has 11 players who could have went to the NFL last year but came back.
They probably make more at Ohio State than a rookie NFL contract.
