Is Virginia still good?

What is your concept of good? I’ve never thought of Virginia as good, though they have been better lately.

Virginia is experienced in a ton of spots, Booger was talking about it in the preview

I don't know how good they are but today would be better if USC were playing Virginia and NC State were playing San Jose State. These games suck.

That’s an understatement. In the thirty years before George Welsh took over in 1982, they had a record of 90-207-2. They didn’t go to their first bowl game until 1984.

NC St probably sucks but their schedule is so bad they might win 9 games anyway

You can count on Tony Elliot to always stack wins against teams they should beat on paper and that goes a long way in the ACC.

That’s only the second time in their history. They won 11 games in 2025 and 10 games in 1989. That’s it in regards to double digit win seasons.
UVA has long been my second favorite team because of family ties, but their football history is bleak. Hopefully Tony Elliot can keep it rolling for a few more years.

I like what they did on the lines.
If you can block and either rush the passer or stop the run you're auto winning 9 games

They are in the ACC and playing other ACC teams, so their wins mean nothing. Am I doing this right?
