Well, they got beat pretty handily by OU. We'll see how LSU does against OU. But no, LSU is the best team in this state.

At what part in that game did you think ULL was going to win? I’m actually curious to know your answer.

I think there’s a question as to who, is better, be=excuse they are both doing very well. But when you consider that UL is their best win of the year…..

And the bigger question I have is is it fair to compare a private school with tons of money to all the other public schools?

I mean what is stopping usl from getting private money from donors?

That’s right they are spending money on crayons and stamps to write angry letters to espn for calling them by the wrong fricking pronoun.

I’m sure that sounded ok in your fevered little brain, but it makes zero sense to the rest of us.

No one…certainly not me….said anything was wrong with them getting a shitload of money. I only brought it up to point out why/when Tulane became Tulane.

In my mind we lost the game with that interception right before half. Just killed our mo.

But we still kept it pretty close.

And a ‘beat down’???? when it was an 8 pt game??? Get serious.

Yes, I’d ship Kelly to Tulane to get Sumrall. He’s a better coach than Big Game Brian.

Tulane comes in at #25 in this week's CFP. If we beat Navy and Army loses to ND, then we should move up even higher and would be in a position to host the AAC Championship game.
Now we just need Boise to lose a game and we are in the playoff.

While I know it is a long shot I never in a million years would think that Tulane had a shot at the playoffs.

Tulane has been the best team in Louisiana for the last 3 seasons in a row.

LSU would blow the doors off both ULL and Tulane.

No one wants to acknowledge this truth. It's not an indictment on Tulane or ULL either as they are both really good G5 teams.

ETA: Please give me concrete reasons why this would not be the case and I will listen.

You didn't watch the Tulane/OU game because if you had you would know that this is as far from being accurate as you find. Tulane was beating the crap out of OU and it wasn't until the final 4 minutes of the that Tulane had a couple of critical errors & bad calls that wiped away their lead. Tulane curb stomped OU in that game it wasn't close.

The HELL you say. Your Louisiana Tech bulldogs have a say in this matter……

Ok the frick they do. From the days at literally laughing at ULL to knowing we’d get decimated have become all to short. We are arse. Anyways continue on Cajuns

You may be thinking about the K state game. Oklahoma was beating the hell out of the wave 21-0. Tulane slowly chipped away at the lead and then OU pulled away in the 4th winning by 15. Also to be fair OU wasn’t decimated like they are now injury wise.

As for the Tulane/ULL game that was about as even of a match up as possible with two plays defining that game. The pick 6 and KO return.

LSU would not beat either of those teams handily.

No. They are one of the better teams in a crappy conference.
LSU would beat them by two or three touchdowns.
