I remember when tiger stadium had about 30k fans just a few years ago. Not sure why you lsu blowhards have to crap on other state schools for trying to improve their situation

White roof for a baseball stadium. Fly balls are gonna be fun.

Are there any plans to update the uniforms? Saints need new unis in the worst way and no better time for a fresh update than now with the new coach coming in.

You didn't watch the Tulane/OU game because if you had you would know that this is as far from being accurate as you find. Tulane was beating the crap out of OU and it wasn't until the final 4 minutes of the that Tulane had a couple of critical errors & bad calls that wiped away their lead. Tulane curb stomped OU in that game it wasn't close.

You may be thinking about the K state game. Oklahoma was beating the hell out of the wave 21-0. Tulane slowly chipped away at the lead and then OU pulled away in the 4th winning by 15. Also to be fair OU wasn’t decimated like they are now injury wise.

As for the Tulane/ULL game that was about as even of a match up as possible with two plays defining that game. The pick 6 and KO return.

LSU would not beat either of those teams handily.
Last time the wave played in Lafayette there were 30k. Stfu loser.
Take a peek at the lsu ucla game. It was hot as shite at Cajun field today. Seems like that carried over to tiger stadium with the empty east side seats

Green Wave vs. Cajuns

This should be a fun one over in Lafayette. Tulane is favored by 3 on most sports books. Personally I think that’s a little low considering the competition each team has played. Hard to gauge how good the Cajuns are as they blew out both crappy teams they played. Tulane blew out SLU and then hung with two top 15 teams. Haven’t been to Cajun field in years but I’ll be in town for this one. Here’s to a good game. Tulane wins by 2 td plus.
I need something like Nia Long. Take her home feed her bone and don’t even treat her wrong.

Buddy shoulda listened to webbie.

They are showing the wrong replay on the flagrant foul. It was right after that they called it down on the other end when FAU hit the 3. Plasvic put a forearm into Goldin’s chest pretty damn hard. Dude is a bitch.

St. Louis Battlehawks lifelong fan here.
No dog in this fight. Lived in both Lafayette and New Orleans. Happy Tulane is having a good year and hope to see them win out. Having said that it was more like 80/20 Cajun fans in the dome that night. They had all 3 decks filled and the bottom two levels going all the way to Tulane’s sideline. Tulane had the bottom level on their side filled goal line to goal line and then the club level was mixed with red and green.

Which would mean the captain had already tapped the legs of the liftboat down & gotten the hull out of the water. High waves would have been beating the hull from underneath causing the liftboat to lean over if the captain was indeed jacking back down. The question becomes then why did the captain decide to jack back down after making the original decision to jack up to get the boat out of the rough seas?

I’m pretty sure the captain never got the legs past 5’ down. Which means he didn’t soft tag the bottom. He didn’t have the chance.

I would be willing to bet that the public wont be seeing a lot of things now. Too many lawyers involved.

They will get out one way or another. In some of the earlier pics you can see one of the legs had snapped as the top of the leg was sticking up out the water. Pretty sure all the broken legs and both cranes will be visible in a 300’ scan range on a bottom scanning sonar image.

The 3 legs probably bent and collapsed.

The 2 cranes are nothing but a pile of twisted metal down there.

It's all still down there in a mess.

I’m not sure who the survey company is out there or if they even have one but it’ll be interesting to see mosaics produced from the sonar images.

I used to work for Bisso doing salvage, pipelay, tie-ins, removals, decommissioning etc. It was a great company to work for until Cappy died. His son Beau ran the company into the ground until having to “sell” his assets to Quanta.
I started about 15 years ago positioning liftboats. Been on countless jobs from the smallest Jack up to the biggest in the gulf. I’ve been on the Power a few times. Every imaginable scenario is heart wrenching to think about.
