New Mexico got their first win over a power conference team since 2008! How embarrassing for UCLA and Nico. Hope he invested those NIL checks

Deshaun Foster is an awful head coach. He should be the betting favorite to get fired first if he’s already not.
But he's making $3.1 million this year and is signed through 2029 with a $100,000 raise every year.
Does he get all of that if he's fired? If so, wow. The only thing worse than that is paying New Mexico $1.2 million to get blown out 35-10.

Don't forget, Nico Imanidiot not only left over $1 million on the table by transferring, he also went from a state that has no state income tax to a state that has the highest state income tax in the country. So, he probably lost 10% right off the top just in state taxes.

The Nico disaster is the best thing that could have happened from a long term structural perspective. The hostage taking failed in such epic fashion.

They may end up winless the rest of the way.
NM is not a good team and I’m not sure UNLV who they lost to last week is all that great either.

Tenner
Second time I've seen this today. When did this become a thing?
At least a few decades now, I want to say the late 90s was the first time I heard it. I've seen it here as long as I have been here.

I feel sorry for Nico. His dad is a dumbass.

They got caught in the “just hire a former player and everything will work out fine” fad before the world figured out Prime is a total fraud, even though many of us knew it from the start.
Yeah that Steve Spurrier guy was complete arse. Mike Gundy too.
You do realize like 95% or more of college football coaches actually played college football right?

Why would Maurice Clarett start the Tenner thing? I am so confused.

UCLA should be an attractive option in the NIL era. Get to play in thr big10 and live in a fancy part of LA, they should be doing alot better

I guess Wooden's bagman died and has no descendants who remember his legacy of buying national championships.
Football costs a lot more though.

What if his dad realized this is his peak and was his only shot at making that huge payday

I would argue that both Gundy and Spurrier spent more time as assistants than Prime or Foster giving them more experience as coaches before making the big jump
Also, they both played QB. Guys who played QB generally make better coaches than guys who play DB (Sanders) or RB (Foster)
