I'm aware of the two players missing(think it was a starter and the 6th man actually), but the referee excuse is bullshite. Southern just isn't very good and lost to the worst Tulane team in years.
FT's were 40-31 in favor of Tulane. That's hardly ridiculous.

I watched the game. As far as I know there are no conference referees in basketball, that's a football thing.
And no, Monroe had started the 2 games prior and Johnson had started 0. They're at 6 and 8 starts now.

How in the shite does the Southern coach not catch hell for this slaughter. I mean come on. Says he was working on his defense and getting ready for league play. Go scrimmage the women's team or ask for a few kids on campus to play a pick up game. I would be embarrassed as a coach and I hope someone drums them and doesn't let up.

That's dumb.
CB had 27 TOs, which is high but not insane, so it's not like SU was pressing them to death. CB just missed nearly all their shots and SU destroyed them on the boards. Southern's coach was supposed to tell his team to stop rebounding?
