When Joseph was at Southern we best Mississippi St and UNLV , when Thomas was their PG . Joesph kicked off SU team .
All the RV lots are sold out. SU has about 250-300 at every home game.
If you look in the history books we were the big deal. We had the best players pre 1980. It’s evident by the amount of players we had drafted and the amount of Hall of fame players we all have. Until 1995 Grambling had more players in the NFL than any other school.
Nothing but a great time. It’s never issues at SU games or on campus Never.
It’s way more talent at JSU of the same race than any of the schools he were considering.
JSU was easily the best defense in the SWAC. Famu was a 3rd place team.

She is a 4.0 student, and made a 26 on the act. SU and Lsu has the same exact requirements.

Southern is usually at the top of the SWAC they've always had a great program. Main player that comes to mind that made the MLB was Ricky Weeks. Played at Barbe I believe. Are you guys flabbergasted that a bunch of African American kids from that side of town can play some baseball? Geaux JAGS!!
Weeks is from Florida. Lou Brock, and Danny Goodwin(only player to be drafted #1 twice) played at SU. Between 2001-2004 SU and Cal State Fullerton had more players drafted, 24, than any other university. This SU team will be better from here on out. This was the first game this lineup played together, as some of the players just got cleared.

Freshmen JaVante Smart from Scotlandville is special, a top 5 players in his age group in the country. He won the MVP and a championship as a freshman, and has a chance to win one for three more years. I knew he would be a problem when he went off for 45 this summer, in his first Summer league game at Roman Banks team camp.

In the 2000's it was years where SU had more players drafted than LSU.

My observation is just off one game, but their guard play is just as good IMO. They were a little sloppy last night, but both games were honestly.

Scotlandville's game was sloppy due to St.Aug and Scotlandville both being great defensively. The key to the game will be how well NCHS responds to the defensive pressure. I have Scotlandville winning BTW.

Experience will play a factor. This is Scotlandville 5th straight championship game. How is NCHS guard play. St.Aug defended Scotlandville pretty good.

I'm aware of the two players missing(think it was a starter and the 6th man actually), but the referee excuse is bullshite. Southern just isn't very good and lost to the worst Tulane team in years.
FT's were 40-31 in favor of Tulane. That's hardly ridiculous.
if you were at the game it was. They were calling the game one way, having your conference refs helps. SU is very talented but haven't played up to potential yet. At the time both were starting BTW.

Is Southern really up on Champion Baptist 44-0?
Losing to Tulane is not respectable this year. Go look at their schedule. Lost at Home to Northern Kentucky and Colgate. Then at a neutral site by 20 to Texas St. And 30 to SEMO and Kansas St.
They were decent last year and the whole team transferred.

due to compliance snafu, two SU starters didn't play in that game. Also they used Tulane's conference refs. The free throw disparity was ridiculous.
Not to many teams in FCS has better facilities than Alabama St and Southern University. The SWAC has lead FCS in attendance every year except the year of Katrina . Y'all are so clueless lol.

swac athletes can cover ground
thats why Swac teams have So many errors. Everyone's fast, even the catchers.

i think OSU had 14 drafted one year

*ETA: that's for the entire draft
Grambling had 24 drafted in 73. Until the late 90's Grambling had the most players drafted in college football.
