Someday we might get a real playoff. Would be fun watching Kyler Murray try running around in a few inches of snow.

Why do the teams up North need inclement weather to beat a southern team? It's almost as though your saying northern teams are inferior and need help like bad weather in order to win a game against a quality team from the south.

It's crazy because even though both teams may not always play in the cold, they both do practice and play in spring and summer, therefore both should be comfortable playing in warm weather, therefore making perfect playing conditiins.

Why do southern teams need warm weather and domes to beat northern teams?

having various regional powers that periodically compete and win championships is good for CFB. Unfortunately there is a serious talent gap that appeared to be closing but the bowls exposed that as false.

Bama, Georgia, Texas a&m and LSU are in top 6 for 2019 recruiting.

Southern cal is on top of a huge population so they can recruit too.

Ohio state can recruit in state.

Penn state can.

That's about it.

Virginia and Mary land could.

The okies live off tex.

New England is hockey and hardball.
Minnesota, Michigan, be happy to win hockey.

Football is the southern sport.

Sounds like an excuse to me... what's wrong with both teams playing under the best conditions? Or maybe Ohio state can't play in warm weather, would kind of explain those early season upsets/ scares.

I mean OSU would rather have it be perfect weather every game. They are a team built on speed and that is negated by bad weather.

We did! But for some reason it didn't show the OSU game yesterday. What's the deal with that?

Looks like a question to me.

What's wrong with both teams playing in the available conditions? It's not like only one team would have to play in the snow.

All the fans of southern teams riding Bama and Clemsons coattails SMH.

It's those 2 then everyone else and the gap is wide.

No it doesn't. We won one of the best conferences in college football and are playing the Pac-12 champions in the Rose Bowl.

UCF should be fun, though.

Why would anyone choose shitty weather over good weather? Worse for the fans and the quality of play.

The one reason is if you knew it would help the slower (and worse) team and were trying to tilt the scales in their favor, which is the opposite of the point of the CFP.

Last I checked, UCF is ranked better than your opponent

You've never played football in the snow.

The point of the CFP is supposed to be finding the best team, not the best team in the best conditions. Snow isn't scary.
