I have never heard of them until last year and now they are steam rolling everyone. Only one team scored a touchdown against them in the regular season. Wow.

I don’t think it is the same as U High because Laf is smaller than BR, I think in the next 10 years it could be the next Evangel.

U high won state titles in the 70s, 80,s and 2 so far this decade.. runner ups in 1971, 1982, 1985, 1990, 2013.....

plus i'd say their academics are on a stratosphere different than LCA at this time

Yes. I meant more of the recruiting aspect and dominating their opponents than the history.

Please... last year Uhigh played and beat the AAA state champ, the AAAAA state champ and the Div 1 state champ.

Look at LCA's schedule....

Said a mouthful here! It starts in Jr High too. Never seen a school that I just instantly didn’t like as much as LCA.
FYI Trev Faulk is NOT the head coach! For some reason they couldn’t make him HC so they have some old white dude who’s the coach while Trev is Director of Football Operations. White dude doesn’t wear a headset or go into any huddles.
They are just dirty

This.

This school has earned the reputation that they have around town, as having the best teams money can buy. Their pastor isn't exactly hiding from that. The only people who think nothing is wrong with what LCA is doing athletically are the people who are directly benefiting from it. I would love nothing more than this to all come crashing down.

I saw this during the game yesterday. The TV cameras showed the coach and no one was even around him. He never had any input throughout the game and you’re right he did not wear a headset

Based on their schedule it looks like they are the new UCF...

Well I have to say this, having played in that district when I was a young whipper snapper, they play in probably one of the worst districts in the state. It is weak in pretty much every sport. VC has always been a good program, Central Catholic use to be a good program but is only good in baseball. Hanson use to be a good program, now only baseball. Franklin high use to be a good strong 4A school, then west st. mary happened. Not saying any of those teams had any chance at beating a fully loaded and fully funded team. But that district is complete shite.

Are they choosing to play up? I was under the impression they were just fine with staying in 1A, and playing up in every sport until the playoffs.

I'd like to see it crash down for a whole bunch of these schools, public and private.

Pretty sure you have to be a faculty member to be the head football coach, and Trev Faulk is not.

Comparing them to UHigh is an insult to UHigh. UHigh is a legit school, that happens to be very good at football, whereas LCA isn't even accredited.

LCA will get a dose of reality when they move up next season.

U-High used to not be so bad, but they reek of filth right now. I wouldn't be shocked if the stories about Gordon McKernan buying all the black kids a spot in the school and on the team are true.

Here is the new district 2A:

DISTRICT 6
1. Lafayette Christian
2. Lake Arthur
3. Notre Dame
4. Port Barre
5. Welsh

That is going to be a tough district.

Is LCA going to be comparable to U High? No of course not, very different setups. But I think LCA has made a prodigious start and if it continues then I think in the next 10 years LCA could be a powerhouse.
