It's not just that. Jayden Daniels has the proper mindset and approach to his craft
I think JD's instincts and decision making are already tops in the League. As soon as he developed his accuracy and deep ball, he became elite.
Can't wait to watch him prosper.

JD is Lamar with more focus on not turning the ball over

As bullish as a I am on JD from a mental and physical talent perspective, we need multiple years of body of work.
Typically Year 2 is the nut-cutting year for a young QB in the NFL. If he can sustain success by the end of his 2nd season, the sky is the limit.

JD is a better passer, Lamar is a better runner

This might not be a great comparison, but JD5 is more like Big C*ck Brock.
Both played lots of games at the college level. There is no true substitute for in-game experience. And we've seen what Brock can do.

Clay Helton wanted Kedon Slovis instead of Daniels

Let's see how JD holds up rushing 200 times a year with that frame.

I absolutely love JD. But Lamar has 2 MVPs. JD has played 3 games. Let's pump the brakes a bit, shall we?

Which means nothing in the nfl.
Nothing in the NFL matters until January. Period

Pretty sure an MVP matters. Not as much as a SB ring perhaps but Reid/Mahomes seem to be cock-blocking an entire generation of gifted AFC QBs on that.

And, again, Brees has zero.
Are you saying that Lamar is a better QB than Drew Brees was?

For perspective, Lamar Jackson had already won an MVP and was 30 - 6 as a starter by the time he was Jayden Daniels' current age.

Many mentioned how horrible of a deal it was to sign him for that much, for that long.
Just a bad contract, Baltimore was stuck having to give him

No, I'm not. I'm saying Lamar is an accomplished quarterback. Jayden has accomplished nothing as of now compared to Lamar.
