It happens. Now explain Marcus Semien. He played the regular season at .276 with 100 RBI with an OPS of .692.
In postseason he's .190 with only 2 RBI and an OPS of just .492.

The guys numbers still aren't very good. His average and OBP isn't very good.
Maybe Lester can correct me but nothing here screams special. Maybe his OPS is good but this just screams power hitter finds contact semi regularly.

His rookie season stats aren't massively different from Alvarez's (who kind of jist showed up as well)
He only “just kind of showed up” to other fans who weren’t familiar with the Astros farm system and think he just appeared out of nowhere.
