Did you watch the game? Pretty good game if you fast forward past our turnovers. Notice us harder baw. Crack a cold one open tonight, throw it up on ESPN app, and partake in our 100th moral victory.
Win/win because you get to watch a decent game, and you get to see us lose.

Cowboys or Corner Bar

Cajun fans talk a big talk but never walk it

Mississippi State travels to Auburn, Arkansas, Tennessee and Texas A&M. If I were a Bulldog fan, I would sure as hell rather go to one of those games then to see my team play ULaLa over Labor Day weekend with an 11 a.m. kickoff. shite, if ULaLa was coming to Starkvegas, that's one of those games where you give the tickets to your brother-in-law.

ULL must have a higher opinion of themselves than State fans do. Truth be told, all non power 5 teams garner the same interest from me regardless of how much better they are than the teams in their conference. I guarantee that the majority of the State fans who went to this game, went to spend a weekend in New Orleans, not because of the game itself. This game was probably one of the worst road trips on the schedule tied with Arkansas.

It was frustrating. Y'all definitely could've won that game.

They certainly could've won, but they also could've lost by 30 had we not made so many damn mental mistakes. We better fix some things schematically or Southern Miss might take us to 4 quarters as well.

You would think Louisiana’s Cajuns could do better than that.
Louisiana not being able to sell tickets for a big game in the Louisiana Superdome is a bad look.
For a lesser school, this would be a blow to the ego, but The University of Louisiana’s supporters continue to prove that their ego is unbeatable.
Thank goodness for that name change, else people might not be taking them seriously.
ETA yes I’m still salty about the name change, even though I’ve become a fan, in general, of UL over the years.

Corner Bar is awesome, so is the one in Youngsville. I don’t think I’ve ever voluntarily been to Cowboys. That place is terrible.

Really could’ve. I put the game on expecting an arse whoopin. Had that crucial turnover in the red zone along with other turnovers. Defense couldn’t really get off the field. But they still were in it and moved the ball well. I think they have a solid team. Miss. might be lucky to win 6 games, though.

We'll win 8. Take a look at the schedule.

If you take out ULL's Grambling game last year, and then compare the rest of their home attendance to ULM's, the difference is only like 2-3 thousand people on average, if that.
Lafayette certainly shouldn't be acting like it's the beacon of filling the seats compared to ULM.

We are a program like Miss St, Ole Miss, Iowa St, and other P5 programs that are second fiddle to the elite athletic programs within their own state.

It's the Miss St. fans I don't get. New Orleans isn't that far.
I saw Miss St. fans all over uptown Saturday after the game. I didn't see a single person in ULL garb. Just my anecdotal observation.

Bumping due to another interesting attendance figure, but with a control in place.
ULM vs. Grambling Attendance: 28,327
LaTech vs. Grambling Attendance: 23,174
I cede the Louisiana moniker to ULM. The true flagship of the UL System.

People in here were all but but but it was all Grambling fans at the ULM game.
Lol like they would bring more fans to ULM than to La Tech which is right next door.
It's really a shame ULM didn't beat Florida State. It looks like Matt Viator has the program really rolling now.

Nobody wanted to be at that game Saturday. I only went because It was free for me. It was hell. There was an exodus of people at halftime. They dismissed the band some time in the second half as well.
I heard on the radio that 87 people were treated for heat related illness. There was someone on a stretcher in the stadium before kickoff. Whoever is at fault for that 2:30 kickoff time, be it CUSA or NFL Network, should be ashamed.
