re: Interesting attendance figure for Louisiana and UL-L (Cajuns are MAD)

Keep trying...I’m not mad at all. I know where we stand as a program and where our problems come from.
You on the other hand are a latchkey kid. Tooting your own horn(ULM) when hiding behind your daddy(LSU).
Had the game been played in Lafayette we wouldn’t be having this discussion. Had ULM played any school other than Grambling we wouldn’t have this discussion.
I know this is hard for you to grasp, but you don’t see any ULM threads on here because NO ONE CARES!

ULM - home field
ULL - neutral site
Why would ULL have gotten higher attendance?

Bad attendance no doubt but 11 a.m. kickoff hurt.
It puts people in Lafayette in a two night hotel situation. Who wants to wake up extra early to rush to the dome?
I think if the game was 3 or later, attendance would have been at least 30,000

Let me repeat my previous post:
Cajuns vs. Grambling attendance (2018) in the rain: 28,866 with ~5-6k Grambling fans
Monroe vs. Grambling attendance: 28,327 with ~65% Grambling fans in attendance.
And Grambling is 30 minutes down the road from Malone Stadium. Sad.

Without the Grambling fans in your stadium, you draw maybe 13-14k like you usually do. Also, the game wasn’t even in our home stadium. I would love to see ULM try the same scenario. I can assure you that you wouldn’t draw as many, if not, the same as we did.
I remember a couple years when ULM outdrew Tech (and UL-L) for the entire season. The rebuttal from the li’l Techies: “Yeah but that’s only because you played Arkansas in Little Rock.”
“Y’all only out-drew us because y’all’s athletic department does their job better than are’s.”
Yeah. That’s along the lines of the point I’m making.
ULM/Grambling outdrew UL-L/MSU.

That 2012 NOLA bowl vs ECU was brutal

ULM/Grambling outdrew UL-L/MSU.
You used a SWAC school to fill your stadium with THEIR fans to make your attendance look good. Our game was at a neutral site. Please stop insulting my intelligence.
Also, please print to the season when ULM outdrew the Cajun Field crowd. And no. Using an Arkansas home game to count towards ULM’s attendance does not count. Malone Stadium only.

You.
Couldn’t.
Outdraw.

When ULM does something smart, that counts. When UL-L UL-L’s, that counts, too.

The UNIVERSITY OF LOUISIANA, a proud football state, can’t put more people in the super dome?

That’s not smart, that’s straight up sad. With ULM logic, we should’ve played the game in Starkville and called it a home game.
You’re THAT desperate to use other team’s stadiums and call them home games because you can’t fill your own. Wow......
Seriously though, let’s compare just Cajun Field vs. Malone Stadium attendance over the past 10 years. I bet you’ll come out disappointed.

I find it intriguing that no actual ULM fans even get into the love/hate drivel that gets spewed between the 2 fan bases of LSU and ULL when they are the subject of this thread.

Without the grambling fans last year ULL home attendance averaged 16,487 over 5 games
With the biggest crowd just over 19k
The ULL grambling game drew 28,800

That’s not a bad crowd. 25k.

Agreed. And it’s mostly due to apathy from the previous coaching staff. And STILL higher than ULM.
