There a difference in genuine reaction and telling the crowd to yell as loud as they can for 30 seconds to set a world record.

Agreed. But the record was set on a kickoff return against the Raiders so not sure how that applies here.

Because no one on TD gives a shite about the chiefs or arrowhead stadium. The Superdome is superior.

Pretty sure Dome is louder.

Domes are for indoor sports. Football is an outdoor sport.

This mark was first bested by Seattle Seahawks fans at CenturyLink Field on Sept. 15, 2013, with a 136.6 dbA reading. The record was then contested between the Chiefs and the Seahawks for the remainder of the season, with the Chiefs breaking the Seahawks’ record 28 days later only for CenturyLink Field to later regain the top spot before Arrowhead set the current record in 2014.

Thats 360deg camera is dope.

Not to nitpick, but that's not a 360 degree camera. Panoramic? Yes. 360 degree? No. If it was you'd be able to see the parking lot behind the camera.

Apologies in advance for being a Luddite but that’s the first time I’ve seen the thing where you can see the 360degree horizontal -not to mention a 190degree vertical- just by moving the phone.

Again, Luddite here and don’t know if this feature is only available only on iPhones or what.

Pretty cool…

Perhaps, but it’s apples to oranges. Saints play in a dome, Seahawks play in a semi-dome

What’s a semi dome?

Literally no one other than dumbass lousianians think about the SuperDome. It’s a dump in a dump city in a dump state filled with dump people who have no perspective beyond the dump.

This video got me thinking....

What's the market for teams doing a PPV version of this fixed camera? With 8K on the rise, more people streaming things, and eventually the addition of VR, I think this could be a hell of an experience. "Season tickets" but without the drive, hotel, crowd, etc.

Here's an article talking about how silly any of these stadium noise measurements are when you compare them to real life examples.

[link= https://www.acentech.com/blog/making-some-noise-were-questioning-those-world-record-stadium-sound-levels/)]LINK[/link]

Basically - yeah there's no way a stadium truly got to 140+ db. It's likely more in the low 120s (for any stadium).

Can’t complain at least we have an NFL team and stadium. Hope you enjoy another 3-9 season with the gamecocks.

I've been to a lot of games at Arrowhead and Allen Fieldhouse and both are loud as frick and made my ears ring for days. The only things I've been to in my life that came close were AC/DC and Motley Crue concerts.
