I don't think anyone even attempt to answer the OP yet.

I'll go with 2 games.

BTW, what did McHale get?

Did someone really say that Larry Bird, one of the 10 best players in NBA history, couldn't play today? Holy shite

I think flagrant 2 and then plays the next game.

And for the other part of the thread, McHale would be schooling guys on the post. Bird would still be amazing.

The youngsters trolling (or subliminally racist)are fools.

Rambis looks like Uncle Rico

Had nobody in the 80's ever heard of a weight room?

Are you stupid, son? Rambis was a towering 6'8", 213 pound block of power and testosterone. He would break Dwight Howard like a twig.

No, I let the players decide the Finals. If a dude punches another dude, he gets suspended. I didn't decide anything, he decided to punch the guy and get suspended(had he been suspended)

Take some ownership.

It's just funny now that posters here almost always back up that style of play and either support it or defend something like no suspension. But when JR Smith does a version of the same exact thing, I'm fairly certain the majority of the MSB thought he should have been suspended longer than the 2 games he received.

It’s always talk about how guys are pansies now compared to back then, then every single time there’s an incident, the MSB is running around in a panic talking about thugs and just acting appalled by the players’ actions after they fight or there’s a cheap shot type of play.

"Evolution" doesn't happen over the course of 30 years. Idiots.

If you've actually seen Robert Parish play ... you'd know there is absolutely zero comparison to JR Smith ... expect that they are both black.

Laimbeer got what he deserved.

Yes, the game has evolved because humans evolve.

Humans don't evolve in 30 years. You are the same creature that your parents are.

In today's game neither team would have had any players except the 5 on the floor for the next game.

Hope no one fooled out

Did basketball evolve from 1955 to 1985?

im not talking about the game evolving. Im talking about the guy that said humans have evolved in the last 30 years. Please tell me about all the human evolution that has occurred in the last 30 years and how it's allowing today's players to be better than ever before.

Bigger/stronger/faster.

Are they not? Just look at that video, at how scrawny so many of those guys are.

Again, 40 years ago most NFL O-linemen were under 260 pounds.
