And I felt like this fight was just a payday for Mike. I think Jake was just helping him out in the end. They both respect each other and Mike knows Jake is a good fighter.

Jake would get humiliated if he fought actual boxers.

Paul is what he always has been.

A brilliant promoter.

He and his brother are very gifted and he’s perfected it in this arena of “boxing”.

His plan:

1. Act like the villain to get people to not like him (See Conor McGregor)

2. Set up a fight with an old and retiring fighter whom he can soundly beat.

3. Hype hype hype it up and use his social media prowess to interest people.

4. Collect his check as people tune in to watch him “lose”.

I’d respect him more if he tried one

I said this exact thing at the end of the fight. If he ever faces a true heavy weight fighter, he would get killed.

Jake should have knocked out that old fool. I don’t know why he let him walk out of the ring.

Jake said in an interview that his dad idolized Mike. Jake hooked him up with 20 large.

I don’t think Jake wants to be liked

Two ways to get popular. Be an all timer or be widely hated. Either way people tune in to watch you and you rake in cash

Because he couldn’t if he had to.

He did. Fought one actual boxer - a terrible one, at that - and lost.

In my opinion, Jake won that fight, and one of the judges agrees. He scored the only knockdown in the fight, and I think there was a bias against letting a Youtuber win over a "real" fighter, and the House of Saud definitely had a vested interest in keeping the Furys happy.

But it really doesn't matter.

I would like to see Jake fight some real fighters, but there's no one in his natural weight class to fight. The middleweight division is a graveyard and Canelo and Benividez won't fight him at Super. So, he's supposed to not get paid to earn the respect of people that will never respect him?

Wilder is close to retirement. I'm sure if he got offered 20M, he'd take the fight..
