re: If TCU loses, is it more likely they move Michigan to 1 or keep TCU at 3?

If TCU gets blown out they are gone. TV ratings are all that matter at this point. Bama would bring in viewers that TCU can’t.

This year is odd due to the lack of one loss teams. If Bama had only one loss they'd be in if TCU were to lose.

I agree.

The 12 team playoff is going to be fun. Will show how dominant the SEC is, as if that hasn’t already happened. I would have loved to see those past TCU and Boise State teams play. That would have been good for the sport. Now, we’ll get to see those kind of games.

If you don't think the committee is salivating at the potential to have

UGA-Bama
Mich-OSU

As the semifinal matchups, then you have another thing coming. I'm not saying that Bama deserves to get in over a 1 loss TCU, I just don't trust the committee at all.

Whay? Why do people think this? Why does the committee want this?

It’s so strange

I hope Bama doesn’t get in. But tv ratings are a huge deal with this current system. TCU deserves to be in no matter what AND they probably beat Michigan in the semis.

The contracts are already already signed. Whether 10 fans or 2 billion fans watch the money is the same

Penn State has a better argument than Bama. They lost to an undefeated and a 1 loss...

TCU is actually an underdog now I think. And yet -1400 to make playoffs. You would think people would figure out what that means
