That’s the point I’m not conserved with what was argued 12 years ago, I was using the situation as an example of head to head vs resume, I linked the thread in the OP I was responding to

Congrats on being a fan of a team that has completely different standards for "winning". Of course entitled fan bases will always claim the "eye ball" test is better....until it isn't.

Name another program that consistently loses their most important games of the season (many AT HOME) and is still always in play due to their name.

This is why college football is really just a popularity contest. Always has been, and always will be.

It is OK. LSU followed that up with the GOAT team several years later. 15-0 with no begging or pleading for mulligans needed. Has Bama gone 15-0? I don't recall ever seeing that.
