Bottom line...SUGAR RAY ROBINSON is #1 all time when talking about the P4P greatest.

I think most boxing experts/historians agree with this too. Early Ali would have been right there if the US government had not fricked him out of his prime years. "What's my name?"

I still put the majority of the blame on Bob Arum for the failed Pacquiao fight.

Mayweather was in the best position to make that fight happen. He left millions on the table simply because he thought pacq's share was too high.

Early Ali is still there. We didn't see everything, but we saw a lot. He was only 25 when he got his boxing license revoked. He was still improving, and so we possibly didn't see his very best. But on the other hand, he fought Chuvalo, Cooper, London, Mildenberger, Williams, Terrell, and Foley in a 12 month time span. Had the draft shite never gone down, there is no way he would have been that active in defending his title.

Btw, get out of here with that RJJ > Mayweather crap. Roy was 100% reflexes and when he lost that, he turned to garbage. He doesn't have the pure boxing skills, defense or ability to make adjustments the way Floyd has done over the last 17 years.

LMFAO Roy only dominated vs far superior competition for 14 years never taking a break. Also based on your criteria I can only assume you have Vitali Klitshko as #1 P4P

Roy fought "far superior" competition? Have you even looked at his résumé? There are more tomato cans on there than on Tyson's.

And why would I put Vitali #1? All he does is jab his opponent until their head falls off. That only works when you're 9 feet tall. My criteria is SKILL level, not size.

Yeah, he is there. It sucks we didn't get to see it all. He was the best that ever lived IMO, but we missed out on a good chunk of his prime. What a shame.

Can we just stop this thread? Mayweather is not the best boxer to live and never will be.

how in the world can you be such a huge boxing fan and NOT know that was one of the major issues Mayweather bitched about?

Lol yeah I see all that knowledge you bring to the table in boxing threads.

You'd get crushed in a boxing discussion with the three or four of us that know what the hell we're talking about.

Keep listening to the media and let them tell you how RJJ, Tyson are the best ever and how Canelo Alvarez is a huge threat to Mayweather right now.

Do you have this response on autocorrect or something? You keep saying this. I don't think you know what it means.

Nobody with a brain has Vitali Klitschko as their #1 P4P, or even in their top 10.

Personally i wouldnt even put Mayweather in the conversation for best pound for pound fighter. For me he'll always be remembered more for ducking Pacquiao.

The Money Man is the best technical fighter, but he has no Knock out power so his fights have been boring as he gets older, that and he fights no one worth a shite cause he's scared

The best don't run from fights

Once Cinnamon knocks the black off Mayweathers face next year the excuses will be of epic proportions from his camp
