That’s the only conceivable way i can see the committee knocking Cincinnati to number 5. I don’t see how you keep them in over Oklahoma State if they beat top 10 Baylor.

Maybe. But this is a hypothetical in which they win

UGA is in much bigger trouble than people realize if they were to lose. Someone showed the CFP predictor site had them at less than 50% chance of making the playoffs if Bama pulls the upset. It's going to cause a reevaluation and they'll be left against teams with the same record, without a conference title, and not many big wins.

Alabama is probably going to get shite pumped by Georgia, so I imagine their spot will hold.

If those 3 win on Saturday, there will be some melting of epic proportions by a few schools.

Bama and Michigan stay. OK State jumps in and Georgia goes to 3 or 4. No way they can keep those 4 out unless Bama absolutely destroys Georgia.

I wouldn’t want to see Cincy lose their chance but I think Georgia deserves to be in regardless if they lose.

If Cincinnati wins they're in. Without doubt.

I agree. I could see them dropping to 4 but they should still be in.

I agree. If they were to lose and get dropped below Cincinnati then it’s further proof that the committee is making emotional decisions instead of logical ones. No one on this earth can possibly think Cincinnati is better than Georgia

if the committee truly goes off who the best teams are then they wouldn’t be in this scenario

With Clemson and UK ranked plus the eye test I don't see how UGA is out if they lose unless it's by a shite ton.

If Cincy wakes up and blows the doors off Houston, that makes things really interesting in this scenario.

Would they only have those two ranked wins?

Nope. Okie State is strategically positioned at 5, right behind Cincy. If Okie State wins then they jump Cincy. The playoff committee will justify this. We've seen it before where they let a team in the top 4, to appease the masses, only to bump them after the conference championships play out.

I agree, and I also think Bama should be out even with a win, based purely on that eye test that has worked well for them in the past. Can't tell me they look like a top 5 team compared to the others.

Obviously the committee disagrees though, so frick me right?

Lol UGA is in no matter what happens. Their only loss would be to the team that would be ranked #1 in the final rankings. It would really suck for Michigan who would still probably be #2 and have to face #3 UGA then #1 Bama

Because we all know Nick Saban teams get shite pumped often.

Georgia will be lucky to win by a TD.

Regardless of how you personally decide the 4 best, if they win, they're in. Mark it down.
