If a certain group of Steelers fans had their way, then Tomlin would be out on Monday

Which is absolutely fricking retarded. Dude is the 3rd best coach in the league behind Belichick and Big Red. Colbert is the problem in Pittsburgh. It sure as hell ain't Tomlin. GTFOH w/that garbage.

But thankfully they don't run things.

I've said it a bunch of times, but it is uncanny how similar Tomlin's, Payton's, and Harbaugh's careers have been and how they are received by their fanbases.

Regular Season (Playoff)
151-89 (9-8)
137-87 (11-8)
153-85-2 (8-8)

Y’all should fire him and hire Urban Meyer.

The fact he is winning with a washed up Ben and a dog shite offense is incredible. Matt Canada needs to fricking go though

I'll give Canada one more year. The OL needs to get cleaned up before I can make a proper assessment on him

You’re talking about like 1% of the fanbase.

He should face some scrutiny for making some awful coaching hires.

No you're right. It just pisses me off. I thought we had smarter fans than that and that we had(we do) have one of the most knowledgeable fanbases in the league.

On offense? Yes.

Keith Butler has been pretty damn good as DC. Especially having to follow Lebeau.

For the most part.

One also happens to be my cousin, who is a year younger than me. He'll be 40 in June.

Tomlin hasn't had a losing season in over 10 years. He's won a Superbowl, and been to a couple of AFC championships iirc.

As long as he doesn't go and pull of a couple of 5 win seasons. His job should be extremely secure.

Fans are just stupid. Never listen to them.

A small part of me would like to see a completely new coaching staff and management just to see something new. But that has nothing to do with Tomlin. I’m sure the results would be worse.

I am praying whatever they do on offense, they completely overhaul the scheme. 3 years of watching a dink and dunk offense where a majority of passes are within 5 yards of the LOS has been painful to watch.

It's time to put Big Ben out to pasture and bring a fresh arm in

Tomlin isn't the problem

Ben's stat line from 01/03 vs Cleveland 24/46 for 109 yards and 1 td

He's a players coach who has a great owner and mostly made good hiring decisions. Even Belichick missed the playoffs last year.

You could throw Pete Carroll into that mix as well.

Harbaugh- 1 Super Bowl Win, 3 Conference Championship Game Appearances, 11 playoff wins, 9 Playoff Appearances

Tomlin- 1 Super Bowl Win, 3 Conference Championship Game Appearances, 8 playoff wins, 9 Playoff Appearances

Payton- 1 Super Bowl Win, 3 Conference Championship Game Appearances, 9 playoff wins, 9 Playoff Appearances

Carroll- 1 Super Bowl Win, 2 Conference Championship Game Appearances, 11 Playoff wins, 11 Playoff Appearances

They're all very similar. You could draw straws to pick for who the best coach is out of that bunch.

Tomlin's one of the best, most consistent coaches in the league. He shouldn't be anywhere near the hot seat.

I’m 50 years old. The Pittsburgh Steelers have had three head coaches in my lifetime. Tomlin is safe, safe, safe. He’ll get a couple of seasons to rebuild with a new QB.

Yep. Same here. I'm 40. You don't see that level of consistency anywhere. Tomlin has been HC since I was 26; so basically most of my adult life.

He is safe as can be. And should be.
