I’d have never guessed Big Ben had the most 500 yard passing games

Tied with Brady of course but he’s tGOAT so that’s expected. I knew he was good but I never remembered him going off like that much. Always seemed like a 250 yard, efficiency guy to me. Any other players that were statistically better than you think of them being? Jokic is another guy that comes to mind albeit in. Different sport. Just quietly dominates

those great defenses probably gave him more time of possession plus he had some excellent receivers.

Ben was such a great QB and he would have won(or at least been to) more SB's if he didn't have to go up against Brady as many times as he did.

He threw way more toward end of his career with no running game and some good receivers

They only played each other in the playoffs those two times. In honest thought that it was more.

They played 10X in the RS. Brady was 7-3. So all together Brady was 9-3 H2H.

Big Ben was secretly one of the most fun QBs to watch imo. He was no stranger to turning on backyard football mode if games dictated it and for a big guy he could move around surprisingly well and was hard to tackle obviously. He also got kind of got overshadowed by Brady, Manning, Brees, even Rivers to an extent every year which is why you may have that perception of him.

This is a common misconception about Ben.

He's closest to Brett Favre. Big numbers, ability to go playground mode, frustrating tendency to make bonehead turnovers at inopportune times.

He was an All American at UNLV as a punter.

It's actually the opposite.

A 500 yard game in the NFL only occurs during a shootout; ie a shitty performance by his defense as well.

That’s because for the last 2-3 years, he couldn’t throw accurately for more than 10. He’s that fricking broken.

Solid QB. Borderline HOFer. I'd imagine he has a hard time even moving around these days.
