My school won district in the 4x100 one year with 3 white dudes. This has absolutely nothing to do with his skin color. shite, man, I went to Jesuit for frick's sake.

Look up 1991, 1992, and 1993, bitch.

The wind may have affected the times yesterday. i know the Central kid ran a much lower time earlier this year.

BTW, the guy who came in third in my district with a 10.5 was Jason Hirtius, who was (and still is) white.

I, for one, love it when stereotypes are destroyed.

well i don't know if the louisiana 5A track and field championships are a big enough sample to destroy anything
college track and the olympics don't exactly favor those of non-western african descent

I know it is only one guy, but Barret Nugent is white and runs the 110 hurdles and the 4x100 relay. He is one of the top 110 hurdlers in the nation and made the finals of the NCAA championships. Maybe things are changing in cllege track too

in the early 2000s, kids were putting up some blazing times, from 1A-5A.... Lately, not so much.
Posted on 5/9/10 at 10:47 am to SPEEDY
something seems a little off about the 2004 results

Not the kind of time I expected to see from the state champ at the highest classification.
I did note that the 3A champs time was better.

This is wrong... That was 2000
I was there to watch lyndrell run and we graduated together in 2000.
Devery also graduated in 2000

The reason times were faster in the early 90s at your district meet is because fully automated timing wasn't prevalent until the 2000s for high school meets in LA. To convert from hand timed to auto you would add .24 seconds
