Superdome has had major renovations. Its prob a top 12 stadium in hte NFL now
I don't know about that but it is definitely greatly improved. The new chairs are very nice, the concourses are much better and its definitely fit to host superbowls at this point. I'd sure as hell take sitting in it over a supposed nicer stadium in Philly or Cleveland or New Jersey in December/Jan.

12-15, its definitely in the top half in the league with the plaza & club renovations, champions square, and the makeover the outside has received.

I disagree but a lot of times at LSU it depends on where you sit how much crowd gets into it which is sad.... Although I will take LsU game day traditions over Saints any day and I enjoy college football more than Pro so I am extremely biased

no its there i been on it for 8 years, its just terrible managed with no real # in line and buying club seats which is about 15k seats skips all that and puts you first in line for lower level later on
Nah. Here's an email solicitation they sent me last preseason and I'm not even on their "waiting list".
Redskins "Waiting List" Doesn't Exist
Redskins admit "weakened interest" in Season Tickets
The Redskins were quietly battling blackouts the past few seasons. That's why they were so desperate to trade up for RGIII - to mask the issues they've been having.

You're an idiot. The Superdome is one of the best looking structures in America.

Didn't read the whole thing, but how long have you been a Saints fan? You talk about empty, I remember a game against the Colts in '03 on Sunday night or Monday night football in the Dome, where the colts put up like 41 points in the first half and at halftime the dome was literally MAYBE a third full. And it wasn't like the Saints were terrible, their record was 8-8 that year. Each team has severe losing issues when losing or playing a dull game. The saints play 8 NFL teams, so there are no cupcakes which creates better atmosphere throughout each game. However, Florida, Auburn, Arkansas, Ole Miss if they're good, Tennessee, A&M, any OOC team with a pulse, is a better atmosphere. '07 year there were 3 or 4 games that year that were better than any regular season Saints game (except for the Falcons after Katrina, that's probably the craziest a stadium has ever and will ever go at a sporting event.)

It's clearly better than at least half the stadiums, including FedEx Field.
The Superdome has an amazing history as well with the Pope, Ali, Sugar Ray, Jordan's shot, Super Bowls, NCAA Championship games, largest indoor concert, Republican convention, Katrina, rebirth, etc.
The Superdome arguably has more history revolved around it than any building in America built after 1976.

As if this thread is supposed to somehow address this problem.

Neck I didn't read the whole thread but I am with you and thought the same thing sitting in the stadium Saturday night. I guess it's that fact that in the nfl if you don't bring it you can be beat by anybody. This makes every game a big deal.
See you Sunday.
See you Sunday.

This is a fair point and it was at the low point of the Haslett / Brooks regime. It shows how delicate rabid NFL fandom can be and how quickly things can change. Saints fans are a little overrated now that things have been easy - we'll see what happens in 5 or 6 years as we break in a new QB. Will we be Denver post Elway and keep packing the place? Or will we be Miami post Marino and have blackouts each year?

Posted by BuckeyeFan87 I've not yet been to TS, but I'm going to have to disagree. I hated the dome when we went down for the BCSNCG in 07/08. It's loud, yes, but other than that wasn't very nice at all.
If i was an ohio state fan, ild hate that building too. Not nice? I wonder why so many super bowls and final 4s have been played in such a shitty building?

It also much more comfortable in the dome.
Saints fans have jumped the shark. The super dome is "better than" Tiger stadium? Where does the alamo dome stack up?
