I knew they had an easy schedule, but I did not realize they were playing all the worst teams from both the Big 10 and ACC.

2026 Opponents (2025 record, conference record )

B1G
Wisconsin (4-8 , 2-7)
Michigan St. (4-8 , 1-8)
Purdue (2-10 , 0-9)

ACC
North Carolina (4-8 , 2-6)
Stanford (4-8 , 3-5)
Boston College (2-10 , 1-7)
Syracuse (3-9 , 1-7)

Their toughest game is either Miami at home or on the road against BYU. The only other challenge on their schedule is a home game against SMU.

Miami might have an easier schedule. Their second toughest game is either at Wake Forest or Clemson.

Does this annual ND scheduling cakewalk actually surprise anyone?

Wasn't Stanford usually on their schedule along with UM and USC? I don't know enough about this year's team to say they should be good, or just benefitting from an insanely weak schedule.

Its pathetic, as usual.

They love getting away with not being in a conference, cherry pick their opponents, play all the service academies and letting the national sports media losers cover for them. Same shite, different year.

I have always hated ND.

Can't stand them.

Terrible schedule.

I actually believe they are good this year but with a schedule like this, you won’t actually know it.

It's always this bad. It's what keeps them in the discussion till October

A friend of mine that’s a math professor at UW-Madison says they’re going to beat ND.

He’s been divorced 4 times but accurately predicted the last four national champions using the same formula.

Do with this information as you will

They would probably lose 2 games or more in just a Big 12 schedule. Here is WVU's away game schedule as an example, since they would be somewhat similar overall distance in travel as well.

@Virginia
@Iowa State
@TCU
@#12 Texas Tech
@23 Houston
@#21 Utah

Everyone hates them until their kid is interested in the enrolling at the university.

Par for the course from a campus that paid $60k to remove a racist rock.

I’m no ND fan, but I kinda feel bad for the students, fans, business owners, and locals. We’re so spoiled with Clemson, Texas, Alabama, A&M all coming to Tiger Stadium…Looking at the schedule, Notre Dame has only have six home games, and other than Miami, what’s the next most exciting home game? SMU? Michigan State? Man, that’s tough. What’s the point in getting out early, tailgating, paying for parking and ticket prices, concessions for that. Imagine shelling out the dough for season tickets and that’s the schedule of games you get.

Yeah, some of those teams are usually better than they were last year, and actually much better, but the don't look really good now.

Notre Dame can probably only afford one loss with that schedule and have a shot at the playoff, even if they beat Miami.

Yes, that’s what it is when they play for a natty and then go 10-2 last year

Maybe one day he can apply his genius to creating a formula capable of predicting marriage outcomes…

You assume he didn’t also predict divorce when he married them.
