We'll see in time. Cam's career is certainly not over, but if he retired tomorrow he's not sniffing the HOF.

haha

you're shifting the parameters because you know I'm right

Best argument against Cam is if he flames out within a few more years. If he sticks much longer, it'll be a foregone conclusion.

I'm not. That will matter. It's the same reason I think Eli will be kept out. 2 SBs, but he's not a HOF QB. Same with Cam.

CAM Newton, the HOF QB no one is scared to play.
Must be why so many NO Saints fans were hoping he had a serious foot injury a few days ago.

Dude is on pace for the HOF but he isn’t a HOFer right now. He needs to go another 5-6 years, IMO.

Eli won't be kept out

Eli doesn’t deserve in, but he’s going to get in. QBs have a little easier time getting in compared to other players.

Do you Auburn/Panthers fans have Cam alerts on your phones or something? Y'all come from the fricking rafters when the slightest negativity is lobbed his way

Not shite-talking, just genuinely impressed at this point

I only bet with Boom.

However, if Cam's next few years go like his last 3, he's not getting in.

Look at Namath. Look at Swann

If you play for a media darling team and win Super Bowls you make the hall with ease

Yeah they won it when he struggled but went there when he won an MVP.
Luck did neither

I hope Eli will be kept out. He'll instantly be thr worst QB in the HOF by a measurable margin.

There seems to be a decent push from national media guys against Eli getting in. We'll see.

Well, Luck wasn't as good as Peyton but they probably envisioned 15 years of Luck outweighing the 3 good years that Peyton had left.
