The Colts chose him over peyton. Peyton went to two super bowls and won one. Yes I know that there are massive other factors, but the colts forced the comparison of his career to the latter of peytons

They did make the right choice and Peyton was the worst QB in the league when Denver won the SB. Indy just stop putting anything useful around him for 7 years after they drafted him.

I think Barry Sanders had a couple of times where he considered retiring before he made the final decision.

But maybe Calvin Johnson.
