Not really on Espada. Their starting pitching is dead, other than Javier, and Hader has sucked arse as the closer to start the year.

And also not getting any pitching help in Free Agency, the front office basically punted this offseason

It’s surprising how much the Astros are struggling

They have exactly 1 quality MLB starter on the active roster.

They don't have any relief pitching that has a clue how to hold a lead.

It is tough for any manger to win, experienced or not, when you don't have 27 outs with your pitching staff.

Only a jackass believes MLB managers have much to do with wining and losing. They are adult baby sitters.

This season is on the front office, not Joe. Brown spent all the money on Hader when he could have gotten several arms to replace the ones that left. Also not having a competent backup 1B is a huge joke right now, kinda wish Dubon would get a mitt and start fielding that base.

I think Click would have been a pretty good GM personally

Not thrilled with him but he's got an entire rotations worth of IL'd pitchers. He's not going to be canned before Verlander and Framber get back.

I was wondering since many Astro fans complained about dusty all the time that it had a big impact

never understood the hader signing when you already had an established closer already under contract.

Time to have a fire sale and rebuild like it is 2013 again.

Given how much we grossly overpaid for a 1st baseman, a middle reliever and a closer, there’s another seat that needs to be warm first.

That's what happens when Crane Jr, Bagwell, Biggio, and Reggie Jackson are calling the shots. Brown doesn't do anything without sanctioning from the aforementioned.
