Green Bay has cost rodgers by not keeping more than 1 talented receiver around him.

This.

A lot of mediocre defenses didn't help either.

Eh, they had some crazy arse playoff losses.

One against the Giants when Eli had the game of his life, and threw a Hail Mary to Tyree at the end of the 1st half.

Another against Seattle when they muffed an onside kick that would've booked their ticket to the SB. They also had the deflected pick-6 against the Cards in OT.

McCarthy isn't a great HC, but the Packers have had some straight-up bad luck.

A lot. I think a great injustice is that we never got a Brady Pats vs Rodgers Packers Super Bowl

I don't remember the exact details, but GB blowing that game against Seattle was brutal.

McCarthy was in tears after that game.

P.S., looked it up, the computer had GB chances of winning that game at 94.4% at halftime and 99.9% with just under 3 minutes to go. And they blew it!

Had GB won that game, there would have been a Rodgers-Brady match-up in the SB.

Interesting contrast with various Belichick Brady treads.

Apparently if the team wins a bunch of SB it’s all because of the QB but if they don’t it’s because of the coach

so many stupid threads on this board tonight. getting paid a crazy amount of money cost him super bowls. you can max out the qb or compete for super bowls. Brady was able to compete for super bowls bc he took pay cuts to keep an extra great receiver on the roster every year.

Not only that, they didn’t have a RB worth a shite since Ahman Green got injured in 2005 until Jones (and now Dillon) got there.

Jones has been there 5 years now. At some point, that can't be an excuse.
