It will be zero tomorrow, too.

A really good college team like LSU might be able to win 20-25 games in MLB.

That looks way too high to me. Even elite CBN team would have real trouble against the pros.

Back when I played I took listens from a guy that played half a season with the Cubs and came out of the pen before getting hurt and ending his career. He faced Adam Dunn one day in his first week called up. Adam Dunn got a fastball from him at 94 mph and swung late. The pitcher decided to try again and he threw 94 mph by him again with Dunn being way late. He chose to throw another 94 mph 0-2 fastball and Dunn took it 450 ft to dead center, winked, and smiled at the pitcher as he left to trot around the bases.

Are you sure he wasn't facing Pedro Cerrano?

So you aren't saying an elite high school team... you are talking East Cobb travel ball all star squad against MLB team.

Zero games. Zero.

A JUCO or Division II team wouldn't even win a game. A major D1 collegiate baseball team could maybe win 5-10 on a great year but I have major doubts about that.

Baseball has close to zero "team" strategy outside of lineup orders and communication between pitcher and catcher.

The 25 very best high school players in the country would easily not be the worst team in the League.

Maybe 1 game if they had Bob Feller pitching...and it would have to be 1-0...on walks.

the 25 best H.S players in the country, 5 would be lucky to see AAA ball within the first year.

Let's look at your lineup for this elite team. This is the top HS players at their position taken in the draft last year and their rookie league stats from last year.

C Stryker Trahan
1B Richie Shaffer
2B Jesmuel Valentin
SS Carlos Correa
3B Corey Seager
OF David Dahl
OF Albert Almora
OF Byron Buxton

AVG OBP K% BB%
.290 .413 20% 12%

P Max Fried
RP Nick Traveiso

ERA WHIP K/9 BB/9
4.24 1.18 7.3 2.6

Your bats haven't been overwhelmed by rookie ball pitchers and show good contact and patience. But that K% is well below average and shows they haven't completely caught up to this level of pitching yet.

Your pitchers are below average and would get shelled by big leaguers. Absolutely crushed.

So even if those bats did manage to make contact, which I don't believe would be that often, your main problem is your rotation. Not even Toe Nash had the command and pitch selection at 18 years old to take a quality start against an MLB team.

ZERO WINS

This isn't true. College teams scrimmage MLB teams and they win all the time.

yeah they scrimmage and college teams rarely win. If you inserted the in to the majors where they play real games they'll maybe win 1/162 and thats only if they have a once in a generation Dwight Gooden type phenom

Baseball is a lot deeper and a lot more mental than you give it credit for being. They would go 0-162 and there really isn't much of a question about it.

1. Define rarely.

2. Explain the difference between a scrimmage in baseball and "real game".

They wouldn't win 0.... The best of the best high schoolers throw in the 90's and can hit a 90 mph fastball. All you would need is a team to have an off day at the plate and have some guys get a hold of a few pitches and they would win games 2-1 3-2 ect...

this is ignorant nonsense.

Hitting 90 and throwing 90 don't mean anything. MLB pitchers can hit a 90 mph fastball and a lot of big league shortstops can throw 90 off a mound.

I can't tell you how dumb this line of thinking is.
