5 or less over a season that long but definitely at least 1. With the best arms and best fielders in the world at age 18, its bound to happen

With your tendency to give up the long ball? At least 2 wins.

Ok yea, so out of the 25 of the best of the best high school players in the world. All will get drafted, probably what 3-5 will make it to the bigs, maybe 1-2 will end up as really good players.

how can you not see the flaw in this? This HAS to be low level trolling. They WILL end up there, they aren't there now. You cannot even imagine the gap between an elite HS kid and even an average major leaguer.

Even the best HS kids come in with two pitches (maybe) and a fastball that doesn't move. You cannot throw hard enough to make that work against big leaguers and none of them understand what true command is yet. It's not throwing strikes like they think.

And hitters? Oh god. Breaking balls would be the least of their problems. Sinkers, cutters, located fastballs all over the zone? It'd be late in the 6th inning before most big leaguers would have to start throwing breaking balls.

This doesn't even get into how bad they'd be defensively or exposed they'd be to shitty small ball.

no it isn't.

It's crazy how raw these kids are at that age, even the extremely talented ones.

I can barely throw a bullpen to a 1st round 18 year old catcher. They can't handle the movement yet.

Quit acting like an expert when you're just another fanboy stathead n00b. Baseball sucks because it's boring. OK????

in basketball, a HS elite team could beat an NBA team... look at Lebron's rookie year

you can pose retarded arse questions about anything. That doesn't make this one more legit, and because idiots have chimed in saying they think it's possible also, does nothing to legitimize this.

Can a girl with no legs beat Usain Bolt in the 200m dash? I don't know, maybe.

Shaun White is a good snowboarder for sure, but can he be beaten in the halfpipe by a dog who can surf? If certain things went right, I don't see why not.

Oh for sure, McDonalds AA game roster this year could win a few NBA games without a doubt.

frankly I think this is more likely than anything and it's still probably an incredibly small probability.

An elite hs soccer team may be able to beat a low level pro team if they pack the box and take advantage of their one opportunity. Also known as Chelsea in the Champions League.

No it wouldn't.

What if our HS all star team was from 1982 and had Doc Gooden on the squad?

What if our HS all star team was from 1965 and had Nolan Ryan on the squad?

In any given year the best pitcher is going to have major league stuff. You're not going to get Nolan Ryan and Doc Gooden every year, but the best pitcher will still be able to pitch a few shutouts over the course of a season.

The McDonalds AA game roster could beat the worst three teams in the SEC. At least.

poor example.

Anyways, do these two guys throw every game, because if not they better hope they don't get shut out (as they would most every single night).

Kentucky is going to beat more than that.
