How is Texas Not Good Every Year?

They have tons of money and are the flagship program of the state with the best HS football in America. It makes no sense. Saban would’ve absolutely dominated at UT.

It will never not be funny that if their donors had just shut the frick up about dumping Mack Brown for Saban he would have come. Instead they had to all talk to the media like their best coach since Royal was a POS who destroyed the program giving Saint Nick a reason to say thanks but no thanks.

The real secret is that they have been perpetually overrated; for the available talent and location and resource support, they have one title in the last 50 years. Before that, they had a decade where they won 3, and otherwise, absolutely nothing.

Texas went to the Big 12 to got them to penalize teams for doing the horns down symbol. They’re not mentally able to play real football anymore
