Of all the QBs put there they end up with Deshaun Watson, Sanders, and Gabriel.

Are they the worst sports franchise ever?

It has to be brutal to watch your franchise leave your city then to have them win a Super Bowl. It has to be even more brutal to get your franchise back then be somehow in worse position than not having a team.

Well, they drafted Baker Mayfield and he led them to their first playoff victory in nearly 30 years, and then got rid of him, so that is a good example of why they end up like this.

They are so bad that players are trying to play for LSU instead of playing there.

I don’t envy this guy.

What a punishing existence.

I have a buddy who still drives 3 hrs each way to every Browns home game.

He may be mentally ill.

Last good decision they made was taking Manziel.

I don’t pay a ton of attention to the Browns, but has anyone else noticed fewer people complaining about Watson being the starter over Sanders compared to posts 24/7 when it was Gabriel?

Watson is being paid so much it’s hard to argue against throwing him out there.

Neither Gabriel nor Shedeur are good nor making much, so people feel more justified in bitching that Shedeur should start.

Cleveland Browns fans can't help themselves. I have a friend who goes to every game and has had season tickets for the last decade. Dedication to watch a team who has only won 10+ games 3 times since the turn of the century.

The stat about them potentially closing their current stadium without ever hosting a playoff game in it is absolutely wild

Guilty as charged.

Although after 50+ years its not really about rooting for the team to succeed. Its more like a comfortable habit.

And once you become indifferent to whether they win or lose, there is often entertainment value in just watching the creative ways that they consistently fail.
