Schedule was ungodly easy, and they're roster was still absolutely loaded with just about evryone back from the 07 team.

Also have to remember that teams were still kind of catching up to what NE was doing offensively. They were basically running the 5-wide Air Raid at times, but they had prime Randy Moss over the top... And it was virtually unstoppable at that point.

With Brady, that team likely goes 15-1 or 16-0 in the reg season.

AFC East was full of auto wins.

Poor Kurt Warner. To lose to the Pats in 2001 and to lose to them again in the Super Bowl 2009, it is too much.

Dolphins won the division that year also going 11-5

Pats went 11-5

Jets went 9-7 that season

And the Bills went 7-9 that season

Pats lost 2 divisional games and 3 non divisional games that year.

Might wanna rethink that one

The team went 18-1 the previous season, that’s still a massive drop off

because the rest of the division they are in are like high school level talent teams, thats a free 8 wins every year, they only needed to win 3 of the other eight games to go 11-5

Lmao nice job doofus

Close to the same roster as the 16-0 team

One of the easiest schedules in recent memory. They probably go 15-1 with Brady (1 loss being the wildcat game)

Better chance than any other team in the playoffs that year to win the Super Bowl. With Brady, they absolutely owned the Steelers. The entire NFL, in general, was down that year, more than any other year I can remember off the top of my head

He was replying to the conversation earlier that discussed the patriots potentially going on to play in the SB that year if Brady was healthy

especially with Bill Belichick since we’ve been told he’s a shitty coach without Brady

That team basically brought back everyone from the team that should have gone undefeated the year before.
