I can't help but feel like we squandered two years of a dominant Dwight. That, as much as anything else, is frustrating.

with the rockets, i just don't think they have enough firepower to go toe to toe with the clip or warriors in a best of 7 setting
oddly enough, they'd fare much better vs. the Warriors.... their problem is a lack of low post play if Howard gets in foul trouble...
to beat the Clips, you need at least 2 capable big men, to match up on their bigs for that pick and lob they like to play.... the Grizz match up very well to the Clips with Gasol and ZBo...

Must have just said something. Didn't see him do anything physical.

c'mon now... Dwight has been good, but "dominant"... that's a stretch

We know Dwight and company will fold if they go down 0-2.

Well Boom, they didn't fall down 0-2, but we certainly got to see the Rockets fold like most of us knew they would.
What a group of mentally weak players.

SVP and Russilo made a good point on their show this week. Said Patrick Beverly is a bigger loss than most realize for defensive reasons.
Harden's defense is laughable, and no one is there to hold him accountable. I'm not sure how a team can win a championship when their best player refuses to try on defense and routinely lets people walk by him and score. It seems to filter down to the team

I didn't like that choice of wording either, but I wanted to avoid saying he was in his prime.
ETA: My point is that he is aging.

First round last year, 2nd round this year. As bad as it has been, Houston is not far from where they want to be and we have a good chance to fill out a complete team, but I really hope we make a coaching change and get serious. I like McHale but he's not a championship coach. Mark Jackson had a good record last year but GS made a change and vastly proved. Lionel Hollins had done good things in Memphis but they upgraded their head coach. Houston can make the necessary roster moves and will most certainly improve PG but it's time to get serious and upgrade the head coaching position.

It's not just them but they are pretty non stop with it.

quote:he was still a little banged up last season and missed a chunk of time this season but this seasons playoffs and last seasons playoffs compare pretty favorably with even his best year's in ORL. HOU role players are letting them down more than anything. Brewer, Jones, Smith have all been crap those are the guys who all played well all season.

Have you missed the shite Rockets fans posted all year long? Well the last couple of years really. From Super Team™ to rust is real to boom just constantly trolling Pelicans Talk. All that in conjunction with how their best players are really unlikeable on the court and you have an easy recipe for dislike

I don't hate the Rockets at all but my word they are trying everything and still getting blown out. They look desperate

Overrated as frick.

even in his prime, he's been mentally weak.... if you get at him, he gets all flustered and starts running that mouth.... and he likes to let that bulldog mouth overload his puppy dog arse...
i've never had a problem with him other than his "look like tarzan, play like jane" routine.... he gets more props than he's due simply because of name recognition...
other than that, i don't really have an opinion of him one way or the other...
