I'm talking in general bro. Yes, the Clippers are destroying them. A lot of that has to do with McHale's horrible strategy and a lot has to do with the Clippers playing better. Which actually makes it worse because they have such great ability and it just feels like they spend more time flailing and flopping than playing.

Their style is fine. Their D has been horrible in the playoffs. That's why they are losing. Clippers have always been a bad matchup for the Rockets the last few years though.

playoffs are always interesting bc they show where the absolute deficiencies of each team are.
with the rockets, i just don't think they have enough firepower to go toe to toe with the clip or warriors in a best of 7 setting. They sure as hell aren't well equipped defensively to withstand the barrage from either team.

There's no way to quantify morale but I feel like going to Hack a Jordan early in the game really fricked up the psyche of the Rockets.

I think Morey wants to win more than anything. He said on the grantland basketball hour that they are looking at defense more than anything. He doesn't come across as prideful and we know he is smart. I don't think he is glued to a certain style imo.

Not every team has a guy in Harden who can score 30+ every night in the reg. season on 5 made FG's.
So far in his still young career, he has not been able to consistently get those calls in any given playoff game. Dallas was the exception to what I've seen dating all the way back to OKC days.
