If I was a Rockets fan, I would be embarrassed to share in that fandom with you.

Houston doesn't lose game 1 if Paul plays.

Not being an a-hole but i have no clue why you're telling me this or what it's supposed to mean.
It's irrelevant.
Except it's not. People are acting like the Clippers are a much better team than the Rockets when healthy. In reality, the two teams had the exact same records, even down to home and away records, and Houston had way more injury problems during the season. And the two teams split their head-to-head matchup during the season. Everyone is taking Game 1 of this series to overreact and say LAC is the much better team. Imagine if we only judged the Clippers by their worst game of last series (the Game 3 blowout). They were fully healthy, and the Spurs killed them. They are an inferior team. Omg!

Excuses are for the losers. When clips lose the series any reason they try to use will be an excuse.

What if Paul is rusty when he returns from his injury? Does that fall under an excuse or a reason?
k thx

This thread is past 50 pages, and it's only been two games. And it was only started at tip-off of Game 1. This board is Rocket-sessed.

Based off of their logic, yes.

I'd argue they're even more similar than that with the 2nd best player on both teams missing a lot of games. I think it was an overreaction to say that Houston has no chance in the series, but ignoring all of the concerns Hou left in game 1 is more ignorant IMO.

If they are home and HOU advances it's an excuse pretty simple. An excuse is a reason given when you fail.

Well guess what HOU had the 2nd most missed games of any team in the league due to Injury. So if you wanna go by numbers that don't reflect the team HOU has today be my guest.

What about all of the concerns the Clippers left in Game 3 last series? How did they beat the Spurs? They lost by 27 points. Nothing went right. That couldn't possibly be an anomaly, right?
