Well break it down player by player.

Howard- soft, never cared enough to become "elite", can't be counted on, too late in his career to change any of it.

Harden- has become an elite offensive player, but his defense is such a joke that he becomes a liability on that end of the floor. We'll see but I doubt he leads any team to a title.

The rest are role players of little significance.

How upset are you that morey said on grantland that he is content with these team's core group going forward? Hard one last year getting torched by LA and Lillard and now this one. I know rocket fans aren't content with having a noncontender in Houston

Harden kind of throwing McHale under the bus. "Personally I don't like [hack-a], but different coaches have different philosophies."

how does a player finish 1 ,2 or 3rd team all NBA for 9 straight years and not be elite?

his defense is much improved imo he's an average defender, the metrics if you're into them will say he's above average at his position.

Idk if I just have it out for him, but I couldn't agree more.

Countless athletes have failed to live up to their ability, but for some reason he pisses me off because of it. Am I crazy for thinking he should be unstoppable? There are times where he doesn't do ANYTHING. His career stats seem so pedestrian to me for what I feel like he should bring.

Good for you man maybe you should look into working as an analyst because a lot of the most respected national writers, analysts, etc had HOU winning the series.

They did? Maybe if they thought CP3 wouldn't get healthy....

It worked well enough they didn't get any offensive rebound on his misses and Jordan was 10/28 in the first half. That's .71 points per possession offensively. Need Jones to stop missing layups, Brewer to knock down a couple shots, etc. etc.

1. I'd take both Gasol's, Z-Bo, and Aldridge over Howard any day of the week. Howard isn't that great and tonight was just another example of that. He's big and clumsy and soft.

2. Being "average" isn't good enough. He must improve tremendously on defense if he wants to lead a team to a title. I highly doubt it happens.

Mike Conley's facial hair is almost as bad as Paul Pierce's.

Just finished up, Rockets defense is an embarrassment in this series.

good for you, NBA GMs disagree with you. There's a GM poll that comes out every season look it up.
