So was I and while I was leaving i thought it was the biggest waste of money so far this year... That team didnt play near its potential. As I said maybe when they are 100% it will be a different story... but as good as he is CP cant carry this team through the playoffs.

Hornets fans expect too much. Defense wins in the NBA and Houston can lock any team down.

I dont expect a NBA championship... They simply dont have the bench. But there was no reason they should have lost that game in front of that crowd that night. Maybe its just my extreme loath for anything texas clouding my judgment but that game made me

houston held UTAH to 6 points below their season average, and had held pretty much everybody under 90 for the last few weeks.

You are from Louisiana, but you root for the Rockets instead of the Hornets. Your opinions on basketball are not needed because they are meaningless. Please do not respond to anything in this thread until you become a real man and root for your state's team.

+1... I never understood how someone can have a team in their state pull for another team in their division... especially any team for that piece of shite state to the west texas (and the rockets, mavs, spurs, astros, rangers, stars, cowboys, texans, all colleges, ect.)

And I'm pretty sure he started following the Rockets in 1994, yet he calls us Hornets fans bandwagoneers.

"I've always liked the Rockets. Am I supposed to just abandon them just because New Orleans decided to get a team all of a sudden?"

The answer, of course, is yes. And you've had six years to do it. Shape up and start bleeding Creole Blue, you homos!

The Hornets haven't been here very long, so I'm sure he was a big fan of the Rockets before the Hornets came to NOLA.

Do you think he'd suddenly switch to another team just because they moved to the state? I don't.

Now this is a legitimate reason why he's a fan of the Rockets. They were the closest team to LA before the Hornets came.

Now if he's a fan of the Rockets just to be, that's retarded.

I was a Bulls/Any team Shaq was on fan (for obvious reasons) my entire life until we got the Hornets... And don't call me a band wagoner because I my arse in the arena when Dan "the man" Dickau was running the point. So on that note I hope we do meet up with your beloved Rockets in the playoffs... NO in 6

When your city/state gets a team, that's your team. Period.

My dad was a Packers fan. He abandoned the frick out of them when New Orleans got a team, and that was in the middle of consecutive Super Bowl wins by the Packers.

I was a Celtics fan. Then we got the Hornets. frick THE CELTICS FOREVER.

If you don't understand this, you're not a real man, and you can't have this explained to you in a way that you can understand. Please buy some My Little Ponies and play with them from now on.

The Packers are across the country from New Orleans.

The Rockets are just a few hours away. There's a big difference there.

The fact that the Rockets were the closest NBA team to Louisiana before the Hornets came makes it okay to still be a fan of them over the Hornets.

Only a woman would rationalize it that way.

The Packers and the Rockets are equidistant from wherever the hell you are. They're both about 10 feet from you on your tv. And they're not your team if you're from Louisiana. If you're from Louisiana, you're a Saints and Hornets fan. If you root for any other team, it's because you are afraid of being a real man. Period.
