And yet it still is.... which is why we still need to have the discussion

not in the way you think it is. Its only an issue because progs and race baiters try to make it one. NFL doesnt hire based on race but yall sure are trying to change that.

Now we can talk about the various reasons about why very few have been successful. I will say that it should be mentioned that outside of Mike Tomlin most of all Head Coaches (Black or White) typically come into similar circumstances. They are taking over a failed franchise for a recent coach that has been fired.

Most black coaches come from the defensive side of the ball for whatever reason, and most GMs/owners today want young, innovative offensive minds.

As for Bieniemy, there are four concerns that come to mind about him:

1. Andy Reid is the best offensive mind in the game and Mahomes is the most talented QB in league history. It is very fair to wonder how much of their offensive success is actually on him.

2. There has to be something to the reports that Bieniemy doesn't interview well.

3. He has a very checkered past. The media won't acknowledge it because they're knighting for him so hard, but it is a real thing.

4. This part is very unfair to him, but Kansas City still being alive in the playoffs is hurting his case.

NFL owners are in the wins and losses business. They do not give a shite what color their coaches are. They would hire a pink man if he would win games.

If we are supposedly moving forward from racism, then we need to stop having these discussions. Because skin color shouldn’t be a factor either way.

This is like saying you want to move forward from cancer but you stop researching for a cure.

So you think blacks are more physically gifted, and at least as intelligently gifted? That makes you a literal black supremacist.

Well what is your opinion? Do you believe black athletes are superior to white athletes? Do you believe black people are intellectually equal to white people? You keep throwing accusations of 'Black Supremacy' so I'd LOVE to hear your answer

Honest Discussion----Lack of Black Head Coaches

I really just think the best guys should get the job don't care about race bc this is America not China, if we're gonna discuss race Bienienmy is probably the only black coach I know of who deserves that chance maybe some up and coming college coaches are there too but I don't know many black assistant coaches in the NFL you can argue should receive a head coaching offer and not get laughed out of the room, we live in a meritocracy not socialist state.

You’d LOVE to hear it because you understand that our society has deemed one of those questions acceptable to answer and the other one not acceptable.

But you know that.

Attacking people for their opinion on it but you won't give your own?

Cowardly.

First mate: "Captain, we're taking on water."

Captain: "Shhhhhhhhh. Why do you have to be like that?"

Stop talking about it all you want. If there's a problem, not going to go away on it's own.

I never attacked anyone on their opinion. I labeled a stated belief.

You know the whole content of your character instead of the color of your skin thing? Think a pretty well known Civil Rights activist advocated for that several decades ago. Seems to me like we were on a great path until about 5 or 6 years ago and then everything went to shite. Now race dominates everything.

I mean you were the first person to even ask the question so it’s just incredibly strange that you can’t answer it. If you felt comfortable asking someone else then you should be comfortable sharing. They are easy questions.

Good coaches coach and win. Others fail.
No matter the color

If you hire someone based on any other fact than "can he coach in the NFL"

You lose

Then someone explain how guys are getting head coaching jobs for being a part of offenses that aren't as good as the one Bieniemy is in charge of. If you're gonna say "Andy Reid calls the plays" then that's fine. But so did McVay and he has 2 or 3 guys who have gotten a head coaching gig. Someone make it make sense
