Oh so the oddsmakers aren't infallible.
Oh so now the same people you were basing your "MVP to Harden is a done deal" take on aren't reliable?
Fancy that.

Who are these we, people, and us he keeps referring to?

CC was at a 62-63 win pace before they let off the reigns due to comfort in the seedlings.

You like that.

Ah yes. I got a MVP vote And 100k+ followers who are interested in my hoops takes. That's quite flattering

He won't need to make any after. He's already made them all.
If it wasn't for these shitty arse new voters Harden would win in a landslide, obviously. fricking new kids

I'm glad you mentioned him because I'm pretty sure he's you, or he reads this website.
His article from Wednesday discusses almost every point you and I debaters on Monday, and his reasoning is ultimately the same as your's.
I wanna see the guy who Boom steals all his thoughts from.

O'Connor has Westbrook 3rd so that cancels out a first place vote.
Sharp has Harden 3rd, so that cancels out a first place vote.

you mustve missed the part where I made the points mentioned in his article before the article came out.....

Am I the only one who thinks the media voting for MVP is dumb as hell? Let the coaches vote but can't vote for their guy.

In fairness, boom was making these arguments two days before him. That's why I'm wondering if he's boom or he's reading this website.
This is the point that boom was making that I thought was ridiculous, and he just happened to include boom CC logic. This is in regards to on-off +/- numbers.
quote:The argument is essentially this:
By this measure, it looks like Harden has the least impact. But look at the on-court numbers. The Thunder are way worse when Westbrook is on the bench, but the Rockets are better when Harden is on the floor than the Thunder are when Westbrook is on.
Well the Rockets are good when Harden is off the floor, and the Thunder are terrible when Westbrook is off the floor. But despite the Rockets improving only marginally when Harden is on the floor, and the Thunder improving substantially when Westbrook is on the floor, I'm going with Harden since it's higher than Westbrook.
I'm not sure why I even bothered to include the on-off margin though, because it was ultimately irrelevant to my argument. Obviously despite my figuring being impacted by the larger difference in the quality of their teammates, I'm still using it to support my argument. And I'm also ignoring that both figures support LeBron.
I am Matt Moore, aka boomshockalocka.
