So access to $15 beers. Nice.

But some idiots will purchase this garbage. Hey baby, I'm taking you to a Warriors game for our date...but we won't actually see the game live and you can only sit down in a bar...but hey, we'll have to stand in line to get in for over an hour...and then we can watch it on TV, just like at home...where there's no line and the beer is 80% cheaper...and my bathroom is just down the hall...and we can sit on the couch and make out...

But no, lets go waste money NOT watching an NBA game live at the Arena.

You don't think they thought about that beforehand?

If it included a picture on the court prior to the game people would pay much more than $100 for this

It says right in the article you don't get to see the game. You can't even enter the seating bowl. You watch it on TV in a bar. So if kind of hearing the crowd live and dealing with the traffic, parking, and super expensive beers and food is worth $100 a month...have at it. Not something I'm interested in.

Or you can spend $80 less and just go to Buffalo Wild Wings and watch it on tv there.

There's demand to be in the building but not actually see the court? Really?

As far as a marketing and business plan this is a win win for Golden State. No reason not to at least offer these. Heck you see someone heading out at halftime and grab their tickets for the 2nd half.

As a fan, lol, no way in hell I’d pay this.

The mobile pass does not include a seat, and with no access to the seating bowl, doesn't even include a view of the court itself. The team says fans who purchase the pass will have access to the arena's bars and restaurants and can watch on the televisions in the club areas.

So basically I’m paying a $100 cover...

frick that

Not totally. If anybody in the media wants to be honest they'll call out that it's a shameless moneygrab. Trying to shake down the fans that you priced out of the actual seats could be bad publicity.

Nothing wrong with offering it. Don’t like it? Don’t buy it. Pretty simple.

I’m sure there are some idiots that want to do this. Let them.

Talking San Fran area.

$100/month is less than 1 days rent. Or the price if half a starbucks a day.

Or Miami it's about 5 drinks at a nice bar on 1 night out.

Pretty damn cheap for an urban area and pretty sure they will sell all 200 spots every game all year.

Of course it is. But if the consumer is desperate and/or dumb enough to pay for it...

No. It's cheap if it's tickets for a seat in the arena. It's expensive if it's a cover charge to watch a game on TV, especially when you add a conservative estimate of $50 on food and parking.

nope.

They are creating something new. You see a tv screen.
You cheer with new friends.
And you and your 200 friends pay $20,000 a month to do so.
You eat the food and drink the beer. 200 more eaters.

Man that sucks for the fans. More people to fight getting in/out of arena, longer concession lines, more crowded bathrooms, etc.
