Yeah, I know. To me, that's the best scenario to get a true champ.
The only reason I don't like playoffs is that it undermines the season. I know it's a played out argument, but take the BAMA vs. UT game this year.
IF Bama loses, then just about all hopes are gone this year. There's still a small shot, but not much of one.
If there is a playoff system, then Bama knows they get another chacne and it isn't as devastating a blow.

Why do they keep saying "what a great opportunity this will be for Boise". What does winning this game do that winning this game 3 years ago against a better team didn't do?
