Yes, a 60 y/o after a total knee or hip does from a clot after a surger. Sorry not a healthy 20 y/o. It’s a sad depressing stupid world we live in

It’s super, super rare, but it happens. I think Venus Williams almost died after blood clots a few years ago, before Covid-19 was even a thing. And she was a very healthy professional athlete.

That was Serena and her blood clot issues came after an emergency c-section. She usually takes an anti-coagulant but was off the medication after the birth. Had a pulmonary embolism that could have killed her.
