I will never understand this modern-day American hatred for Canada.
If you guys would get out in the world, you’d realize Canadians are some of the finest people you’ll ever meet.

It’s a HUGE thing in the hockey community. Canada has not won a Cup since 1993. I would like to keep that streak going. USA hockey is surpassing them. It drives them absolutely crazy.
I (my parents) had to pay USA hockey fees for me to even play from like age 5-18. Then I took a few years off. Then you even have to pay the same fees to play in beer league.
It means a LOT to see us beat Canada in the gold medal games in men’s, women’s and even our Paralympic (sled hockey) team. All in gold medal games.
It’s a huge rivalry.

But if you’ve played at any decent level - and I’m assuming you have - then you know they’re some of the best teammates of all-time.
Your love of the game of hockey is thanks to Canada. It wasn’t that long ago when all of your favorite players were from Flin Flon, Medicine Hat and Moose Jaw…..not Worcester, Muskegon and Anaheim.
But if you’ve played at any decent level - and I’m assuming you have - then you know they’re some of the best teammates of all-time.

Canadians have been politely protesting with their wallets for quite some time now not buying American made products, especially with bourbon and beer.

Been to a ton of games in Canada…..Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton (amazing arena)…..didn’t hear a single fan boo the American anthem.
Trust me, Canadians are a lot classier than LSU football fans.
