FSU lost 55 games total through Bowden’s first 25 seasons, they will likely have that matched by the end of the year for 2017-2025

They wish it was open. Cornrows Mike will be back next year. FSU is a fraud big boy program. They have a blue blood reputation on a Wake Forest budget.

Imagine being Bama losing to this fraud program this season

0/19 @ 1pm - As reported by On3's Pete Nakos earlier today, Florida State's decision makers have been in contact today to discuss the future of the football program and what to do with Mike Norvell. The buzz we are hearing is that a decision has probably been made to let Norvell go and it should become official within the next 24 hours. Keep in mind that nothing is official yet, but it's hard to imagine what would happen at this point to change this current course. Stay tuned...

one of the cfb talking heads said this was true, its why fsu stayed in acc.

they thought about big12, but their AD thought about the horrible visiting teams who would come in, and no one would care, zero ties or attachments to area. AD basically called it out, saying they ned every seats in doak? filled, they arent rich like others, and kansas, kst, isu aint going to get the fans clamoring to fill the seating

We're 6-1 with four ranked wins in a row and currently #4 in the country.

Sorry you guys blew your wad for the whole season in week 1.

If they are really trying to leave the ACC, they can't fire him.

I think they've finished paying off Willie Taggart . I don't know if Norvell has a fully guaranteed contract of if it has an offset clause should he take another head coaching job. I'm guessing his buyout would be similar to Taggart which in this case would be around 8.5 million over 4 years.

I's a big pill to swallow but the question is can they afford "Not to" fire him?

Possibly surprising stats, FSU is 41-43 in ACC play with only one ACCCG appearance (win in 2023) since Jameis Winston's last season in 2014. Somehow, they are 11-7 vs other power conference teams in that time, and 0-3 vs Notre Dame.
