Couldn’t Stafford know another member and end up there? I mean the rich aren’t going skiing in Mentone, Alabama. They move in a certain circle.

it’s not like Rapapport made a personal attack he reported heard something different
I think Rap was doing damage control. He wasn’t reporting. He was acting as a public relations spokesman, most likely being fed information from Brady’s agent Don Yee.

Brady should not be able to report and own an NFL team.

Shultz is in the early phases of being an NFL insider, where you really believe your talents have led you to become the best in your field and your relationship building and earnesty as a reporter is what got you to the top
Rap is in the late phase of being an NFL insider, where he has accepted his fate as a media puppet for his sources to allow the NFL network checks to keep flowing. He barely changes the language from the texts that agents send to him to tweet out
Both annoying in their own ways, but also both on the same cycle so Shultz will be at the later phase eventually

Brady has had a place (and membership) in the super exclusive Yellowstone Club for a long time, which is a private neighborhood, golf course, and ski hill right next to Big Sky for the rich and famous. Unless the Staffords are also members there, Matt had to be invited as a guest.
I am just saying the "In montona of all places" line is dramatic and acting like they ran into each other in Mongolia

Forgot to point this out, but for those wondering why Ian Rapport and Jordan Schultz happened to meet face to face at a Starbucks in Indianapolis, it’s because of the NFL combine that is going on there right now.

Fighting over crumbs dropped by the people actually eating is embarrassing.

Is Montana the only place where people ski?

no but it is a great place to ski if you want to get away from filthy poors and peasant millionaires

I would accept the story that they just happened to run into each other at an exclusive ski resort if this was not the same way Stafford ended up with the Rams.
Stafford went to Mexico to a resort for the weekend and hung out with/got recruited by McVay, Andrew Whitworth, and some others.
This was definitely a recruiting trip

Rapoport looks like a slimy douche but whenever Schultz is on Cowherd he looks like a create a player template from a video game.

Hey Mentone is 20 minutes from me.

two rich dudes running into each other at a presumably nice ski resort in Montana in February doesn't seem that strange
This was my first thought.
It's also possible it was some type of informal/impromptu meeting- Tom had plans to be at his home in Montana that weekend, hears that Stafford will be at a local resort, hits up Stafford and asks if he wants to get together while in town.

We’re told that Rapoport was talking to an agent. Schultz approached Rapoport and said, “We need to talk.” (Or specific words to that effect.)
Rapoport replied, we’re told, “We don’t need to talk.” (Or specific words to that effect.)
Schultz then made accusations about Rapoport, we’re told. Rapoport, we’re told, regards the accusations as unfounded. The two men were essentially face to face.
How did they find out again?
Oh, they were told. Got it.
