Clarification on battles into a corner? You are only penalized if both drivers go off?

This will have to be number one. More gravel traps fix this…

Red flag rules with tires? Back of the grid or like tires?

Not allowing any changes/fixes during red flag would be welcome

No more sprints? (We can wish).

Yes please

The take away from this year is that they let them race unless

A) the driver forced off gets damage or several places lost.

B) the driver on the inside also goes off, doesn't make the turn (minus the Brazil debacle thanks to Masi)

The safety aspect is what I keep hearing as to why changes have to be allowed. So back of the pack makes sense.

Fortunately we're only a couple months away from testing.

In the 70s they let Roger Williamson burn to death on the side of the track and didn't even throw a yellow flag. Ill take the endless safety cars over that travesty any day

I do too. Not complaining about it. Just noting the difference.

His constant whining over the radio is silly and off-putting

I’m sure they all whine. We just hear him because he is in or around the lead so often.

Oh I would love to see refueling stops come back.

This x1000. There is no valid safety reason to not have smaller fuel tanks and refueling. It creates many more strategy options. One reason IndyCar races are so wide open is multiple pit stops.

Of course they do.

I am always impressed how calm they sound.

I’m impressed by how Lewis has handled this. He’s not nearly the a-hole he’s made out to be and a fierce and worthy competitor that’s an asset to the sport.

Think the reason is he knows deep down that his team fricked him worse than Massi… if they would have listened to him, he would be champ.

They're going 180 mph and pulling insane Gs while trying to talk on the radio with a water hose right there all while fiddling with the wheel buttons and trying not to die.

The funny thing is Kimi was always more intelligible over the radio than he was in an interview sitting in a chair.

They could easily implent enough safety precautions as well.

They are driving around in cars very capable of electrocution and manage to not have any mishaps.

The first stint was always nail-biting because you never knew the fuel load. You are thinking damn he is fast and he comes in at lap 9 or Jesus that's slow and they run to lap 27.

The same with the qualy times you never knew what the fuel load was.

I also occasionally wish for the return of single hot lap qualifying.

Someone on reddit compiled this list. Historic year.

6 different race winners, including a first-time winner
13 out of 20 drivers get a podium
4 different teams winning a race
8 out of 10 teams get a podium
Max and Lewis going into the final race tied on 369.5 points, after 21 races and 541.5 possible points up for grabs.
Max Verstappen break the record for most podiums in a season (18)
Max Verstappen finish 1st or 2nd in every race he finished (excluding Hungary for obvious reasons)
Bottas complete his 5 years at Mercedes without ever being knocked out of qualy before Q3
Kimi finishing his career with an astounding 350 races
Hamilton tying Schumacher's record of 15 consecutive seasons with a GP win
Verstappen get within 8.5 points of Schumacher's all-time career points (despite the different points system, this one blew my mind...)
Hamilton bring the record for most races with a single engine manufacturer to 288, every race he's ever raced
Lewis tie Schumacher for most wins at the same Grand Prix (8 in Silverstone, aside from the 8 he already had at Hungaroring)
Lewis tie Senna for most consecutive wins at the same Grand Prix (5 at Barcelona compared to Senna's 5 at Monaco)
Lewis tie Schumacher and Senna for most pole positions at the same Grand Prix (8 at Hungaroring, on top of the 8 he already had at Australia)
Max bring the record for most total wins without winning a championship to 19, before actually winning it
Lewis extend the record for most pole positions to 103, ahead of Schumacher's 68
Lewis extend his record for most wins to 103 over Schumacher's 93
Lewis extend his record for most podiums to 182 over Schumacher's 152
Bottas extend his record for most career points without a championship to 1738

What a shite show.

I stand by my comment saying I don’t care who wins as long as no controversy.

I feel I should get partial credit for

my guess

I have them hitting each other and the Max/Lewis fans arguing over what happened and whether the championship should have an asterisk.
